Tim is an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer as well as a Group Exercise Trainer. As owner and full-time trainer, he strives to help members and their families achieve their fitness goals.
Tim was a regular Fitness One member for 7 years before having to help his family in Tennesse for 5 years. Now he is back ready to serve you! Tim has been instrumental in helping the gym navigate through the challenging times of 2020. We are very lucky to have him!
Ashlie has been a personal trainer and group exercise instructor at Fitness One for the last 12 years. Ashlie handles membership accounts and keeps our office organized.
Certified Personal Trainer, ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor
Bonnie is a certified trainer with over 10 years of experience. She teaches a variety of classes including kickboxing and strength classes. You can tell she loves her Fitness One family by the variety and energy she brings to every class!
Bonnie also handles new member admissions and is available for small group classes as well as personal training.
Jennifer is a high energy, motivating group exercise and bootcamp instructor with a passion for people! She is also certified teaching yoga and cycling. Her classes are fun, upbeat and an awesome workout.
Personal Trainer, Boot-camp Leader
Allison is a Group Exercise Instructor certified through AFAA, Personal Trainer and boot-camp leader. She teaches circuits, strength, Pilates based classes and yoga. She is co-founder of the SMART START program created alongside Olinda Branch to help new clients work gradually into a fitness program, learning to eat properly and learn good exercise form. She also manages the enormous Fitness One class schedules and trainers
Martial Arts Trainer and Teacher
Todd White holds black belts in multiple martial arts including karate, hapkido and Taekwondo, in a career that has spanned over 30 years. He holds his highest as a 5th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo. Todd was a National Karate and Taekwondo competitor and is now leader of the Kids martial arts and training program at Fitness One.
Katia is a Certified Yoga Instructor completing the Charlotte yoga teacher training certification in 2011. Katia teaches a unique blend of Yoga and intervals for fat loss called Fit Flow, as well as more traditional yoga in her other classes.
Krav Maga Instructor
Jon is a Krav Maga Instructor at Fitness One with over 30 years experience teaching martial arts. He is a holder of multiple Black Belts. Jon has black belts in karate, kickboxing, hapkido, the Joe Lewis Fighting System and is the Senior student and recognized co-founder of American Martial Arts Systems.
Alex has over 15 years of martial arts experience and holds black belts in kickboxing and Israeli Krav Maga. She is currently a 3rd degree black belt under the American Martial Arts system. She has completed 5+ years of boxing competition training and has hundreds of rounds of full contact sparring experience. Being a team member at Fitness One allows her to share her passion for boxing/kickboxing with others.
Candi Wallace is International Fitness Trainers of America Certified Personal/Small group Trainer since 2014. I joined Fitness One as a member around 2012 and loved it so much it awakened the passion that was within me. I trained with Fitness One part-time for about a year after obtaining my certification. In 2021 I joined the Fitness One family full time. Teaching small group, personal training and some of the larger group classes evenings and Saturday mornings is where you’ll find me. I love love love what I do and count it a blessing to be a part of the Fitness One family.
Boxing Coach and Trainer
Danny Akers is a former World Boxing Champion with the IBF and WBA. Undefeated in his amateur and professional career, Danny brings a level of boxing experience to those in our boxing club that is unmatched anywhere in the Triad.
Tim is a Certified Personal Trainer with 25 years of martial arts experience in kickboxing, Taekwondo and hapkido. He has been working as a trainer at Fitness One for over 3 years in kickboxing and martial arts, and started working with group classes last year. Tim brings a level of expertise to the striking, kickboxing and cardio workouts that is hard to find from a trainer.
Jason Milam is an ISSA Certified Personal trainer, and is proficient in weight training, boxing and X3.
With a background in the US Army, Jason brings a strong discipline that gets great results and keeps clients coming back for more.
