I've tried every "fad"...P90X (got old after awhile) Spinning (how many things can you do on a bike staying in one place?) Step, Machines (Arrg) and even Crossfit (Injuries were to much, exercises to ballistic and random for me and hard on the joints) I gave up at the Big box Gym and thought it was over, until I found Fitness One! Programs at my level, Real Certified Instructors with actual Credentials and a workout that combined the best of everything I have ever done into one program-For 1/3 of the price that some programs charge! Since fitness One I am in the Best shape ever, getting better every day and I cant wait for each workout! Definitely the place to be to get in shape!

Just a quick note to let you know when I turned 35, I started losing
weight but gaining inches because my clothes didn't fit right (losing
muscle, I'm sure).  So, I have been going to Fitness One Training systems for about 3
weeks, 3 Xs per week and eating healthier.  I have gained 1 1/2 pounds
of muscle because my clothes fit way better, I feel
stronger and I have a ton more energy.  Plus, my schedule is crazy
half the time but I can get in, get a great workout and get out.

Today was my second day and I must say the workouts are intense and have made me sore, but I love every single second of it! I am so happy I purchased the LivingSocial deal. In one day I knew I wanted to join for good...21 classes just aren't enough! Not to mention the trainers and everyone at Fitness One are so friendly and helpful! =D

In just my first 6 weeks with Fitness One I have lost just over 30 pounds.  The inches are really falling off I have already had to buy some new clothes and just a few weeks later its time for more.  Allen's recommendation of the Whole Gains shake was great its nutritious and it taste just like a chocolate milkshake really eliminates the cravings for sweets.  Working with Allen has made it so much easier than going at it alone with his knowledge and experience you get way more direction than just walking on the treadmill, pedaling the stationary bike and, starving yourself hoping to lose weight.  The workouts are always new, never boring and, only take about 30 minutes a day.  Yes 30 minutes and your done for the day!!!

My name is Russ Mabe and i would like to tell you of my experience working out with Allen Branch. First let me tell you a little history. I am a pilot with a major airline, and after the events of 9/11 i was very concerned for the safety of my cockpit. I asked several people for advice as to where to receive training in self defense. Allen was recommended to me by a friend in my church. After a initial interview i came to his gym for my first lesson, and to my surprise he had assembled a mockup of a cockpit, a person acting as a intruder in a padded suite and a flight attendant. After several examples of cockpit intrusion i was hooked. Since that time i have worked out with Allen in martial arts and personal training, not only for self defense but just to maintain my health and fitness. The Federal Aviation Administration has changed the mandatory retirement age recently from age 60(which i am ) to 65, so i am attempting to maintain my health through personal training with Allen in order to pass my physical exams with the FAA every six months.Allen had been a very positive influence for me in many ways; such as confidence in my own abilities, he is never negative only uplifting physically and mentally. I would recommend him to anyone no matter your age or background in self defense or physical training.

I have been training with Allen for almost 3 years.  The improved health, appearance, confidence and self defense are all great; but I train for ability.  At 51, I have two teenage children that I want to “hang” with, no matter what they choose to do.  Whether it’s front yard football, kayaking, rock-climbing, or a 28 mile hike, Allen develops the workout that I need.  At the time of the event, I find myself with the stamina, strength, flexibility, balance, and speed needed.  Yes, even a concert with a mosh-pit, Allen has got me covered.    As a bonus, even when I’m not preparing for a specific activity, the work-outs are never routine, never boring, and consistently a great mental break and stress reliever.  Always the professional, Allen provides the knowledge and motivation needed to achieve my desired goals.  I am so thankful that at my age, I can do whatever activity I want.  Thanks Allen!!

I started a weight lose program at work with 2 friends and I knew to be completely successful I was going to have to start exercising along with the dieting. I thought about going to one of the big gyms but the thoughts of working by myself in a place with all kinds of machines lined up did not appeal to me. My son is in martial arts at Fitness One and I thought why not work out while he was in class instead of waiting for him to get done. That's when Allen introduced me to Tracy. Tracy has been a great inspiration for me to work hard. There are no 2 days alike so I know I will never get board with the work out. I start the diet program 12 weeks ago and have been working with Tracy for 8 weeks. I have lost 32 pounds, which is 2 clothing sizes, as well as cutting my blood pressure medication and my trigylceride level in HALF. You may be thinking that's a great weigh lose program but let me say the other 2 friends have only lost about half what I have because they do not get the exercise in. Without Tracy in my corner I would not be where I any today. Tracy, thanks for pushing me, encouraging me and celebrating with me as I reach small goals on the way to my ultimate goal.

"Allen's expertise gives you something you can't get from an exercise class nor from working out on your own. I just wanted to shoot you an email giving you a little update on my training program so far... I'm a little over 4 weeks in, and have already seen great results!!! I have never been able to come by a workout program where I have been successful in reaching my goals, but here I have been making such huge progress!!!! It has been wonderful getting to know all of you there and Tracy has been a terrific trainer and support system for me. (I even look forward to being dragged through the ringer at the 6am kickboxing class) This program as completely surpassed my expectations and I'm very excited to keep this routine going and exceeding my goals!!!

Within weeks of starting my program with Allen I started seeing results. My body is changing and the compliments I get are great. Like so many other people, I was getting nowhere on my own, felt intimidated, and was bored with the regular gym routine. I've worked with other trainers in the past but no one compares to Allen. His knowledge and talent are undeniable! We've been friends for years and when I found out that he was back into personal training, I knew I was signing up. Working with Olinda is fantastic!  She has been training me since the summer of 2008, and I can tell a major difference in my body.  I am stronger, lighter, more flexible, and I feel great.  I am in better shape than I was as a teenager.  Exercise used to be something I either dreaded or avoided, but not anymore.  Olinda keeps it fun and exciting; every session is something different.  Her positive attitude keeps me coming back again and again.  She pushes me like I would never push myself on my own, but she does it with a smile – and I thank her for it!  I haven’t reached my final fitness and weight goals yet, but I know that with Olinda, it’s only a matter of time!

I have trained in several different styles and dojos since I was 8 years old (18 years, as of this post), and I have to say that I was VERY impressed with the training I received from Fitness One Training Systems. 

Allen and his staff of trainers are some of the most friendly and professional individuals I have encountered over the years and the new facility is fantastic, complete with plenty of room and all the necessary equipment. Their Krav Maga class is easily my favorite of all the programs, especially since Fitness One is the only school in the area that has Israeli certified Krav Maga black belts on staff, which is evident during the class itself. I do not have kids, but have watched the kids class a couple of times while warming up, and was very impressed with it as well.

Bottom-line, if you are looking to get in shape or learn how to defend yourself, Fitness One is the place to be.

Just wanted to tell you that you are such a good teacher.  I love the way you explain how to do each move...like "look through the hole" of the kettlebell.  Or, "when you swing the bell up use your hips and legs." I am really un-coordinated and I never really know if I'm doing the moves right, but your descriptions are right-on!  Of course, it makes the work out even harder :).

Simply said, Allen Branch is the" Muhammad Ali" of fitness training.  He is the best. He has been my personal trainer and martial arts instructor for the past 5 years.  During that time, I have seen my total cholesterol travel below 200 and my HDL's "good cholesterol" increase from the low 30's to the upper 40's.  This has been achieved with diet and exercise, without any medication, under Allen's supervision.  With both my dad and younger brother having heart attacks at age 41, you can see why the good cardio numbers are important to me.  As my  martial arts instructor, Allen has elevated my physical skills and mental toughness in  becoming  a second degree black belt. This has given me a level of confidence in myself that money cannot buy.  No two workouts are the same and at age 51, I am quicker, faster, and stronger than most men half my age.  Thanks Allen!

Thank you so much for setting me up with Ashley as my personal trainer.  I have been so pleased with my results.  Within a few workouts I was able to see improvement in my abs.  I lost 10 pounds the first 4 weeks.  Ashley's expertise in Pilates and other core strengthening exercises have trimmed inches off my waist and middle section.  The nutritional support that she has given has been extremely valuable as well.  Although my cholesterol was not an issue, my counts decreased by 5 points.  Ashley is very knowledgeable and was very caring about my overall health.  I have enjoyed training with her and getting to know her.  She is a very special person.

Fitness One Training Systems is awesome!  The first week of the 21 day bootcamp I lost 4.5 lbs and the workouts kicked butt!  The thing I like most about it is that the workouts are different everytime, from kettlebells to circuit training, the workouts never get boring. The staff is wonderful, knowledgeable and very inspiring!  I am so glad I found Fitness One, I am looking forward to meeting and staying at my fitness goal with the help of Fitness One and Allen.

I'm 49 years old and the BIG 50 happens in OCT 2010.  I promised my brother (who is an ex-bodybuilder and health nut) I would be in the best shape I've been in by the time I'm 50.  So, I started on FitnessOne's "20lbs in 12 weeks" program.  My personal trainer is Josh Tufte.  Josh has been a godsend for me.  I started at 198 lbs.  Way too much for a 5' 10" pear-shaped man!  

Three months later and just today, I weighed in at 175 and have lost 3 inches in my waist.  I just had my annual physical and my cholesterol was well below 200 and HDL (good) was at 62.  My doc said, "well it looks like someone has been losing some weight here."  I feel the best I've felt in years and I'm in the best shape I've been in over 25 years.  Needless to say, I'm hooked and plan to continue with Josh for who knows how long.  

The last thing I'll mention is the warm welcome you get from all the trainers and staff at FitnessOne.  I think I have met them all and can honestly say all of them "know their stuff" and are a class act!  For me, it was about holding myself accountable and then also having someone hold me accountable for showing up each week.  Josh did that for me.  That's NOT what you'll get in a big-box gym environment.  And another thing, I have plenty of exercise equipment at home but I just couldn't make myself do it nor did I want to do it while being bored to tears.  Fitness One makes it tough (for results) but fun.  You get a great mix of exercises no matter what your goals are.

Thanks Josh for pushing me just the right amount (and sometimes then some!).  Thanks Allen for putting together such a professional staff, facility and fitness programs to change peoples lives for the better.

Allen Branch has developed an incredible workout system.  Rather than a do-it-yourself gym, Fitness One class is centered.  There are several advantages to this.  First, you get the feel of having a personal trainer giving instruction and motivation.  Second, you get the teamwork feel as you are training with others.  Third, the classes involve both cardio and strength training - making it a great combination.

One of the things I love most about the classes is that you are doing one exercise for no more than a minute before you are moving on to something else.  You never get bored.

I personally love the Kettlebell/TRX combo and circuit training.
