Fitness Tips from Fitness One Kernersville

A Protein Shake that actually tastes good?

Ok, so most protein shakes taste like the bottom of a shoe-An old shoe at that. There is an after taste that is worse than the during taste, and most peopl ejust leave it on the shelf until it expires. In this segment of Fitness tips from Fitness One in Kernersville, Allen Branch gives us his recipe for a great tasting shake.

At Fitness One Training Systems we look for things that well, taste good, because we like to eat. The old school have a 1/2 sweet potatoe, a cup of wild rice and 4,000 cans of tuna a day just isnt realistic, and many of the body builders and crash dieters who try it end up right back where they started, packing on the pounds.

So, for A Fitness tip, try this shake from Fitness One. Our Kernersville business partner GNC has all of the ingredients.

Fitness tips from Fitness One in Kernersville-The shake

So, here it is, my personal favorite shake (and by the way 4 different people have lost between 18 and 52 pounds drinking this shake, so it has a history!)

Soy Light Vanilla Milk or Skim Milk

GNC Kernersville Dark Chocolate Whole Gains shake (Fitness One members get 30% off all products there)

GNC Ground Flaxseed

GNC Clear mixing fiber

Smart Balance Peanut butter

Base the scoops of protein on how mny calories you are allowed to consume, this one is based on my version, that depending on how big of a portion size you need.

My serving

1 large scoop protein

10 oz sild light vanilla milk

1 scoop Ground flax

2 Teaspoons Fiber

1 teaspoon Smart Balance PB

ICE

I use a Blendtec Blender, but you can use whatever you have. Put all together and blend well! Once blended this shake is delicious, has the right fats, extra Omegas and many nutrients you need. Try it-You wont be dissapointed!
